Islamabad (P.R): When the woman acquired the awarness of surroundings she depicted the cruelities meted out to her which is a part of resistance literature. These views were expressed by Shabnam Shakeel in her presidential remarks in connection with the International Women Day in a ceremony and Mushaira organised by Pakistan Academy of Letters. The theme of the seminar was “The Role of Women in Pakistan Resistance Literature”. Sarwat Mohyuddin was the chief guest. Parveen Tahir and Abida Taqi also expressed their views. The proceedings of the function were conducted by Dur-e-Shahwar. |
