Islamabad(P.R): In this era of class strife only the charming poetry can pull us out. Mehboob Azmi was a poet who wrote such poetry that spread smiles on the faces of people and provided them with quality entertainment. These views were expressed by Dr.Babar Awan, Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs in a condolence reference held in the memory of renowned humorous and satiric poet and writer Mehboob Azmi in Pakistan Academy of Letters with the collaboration of Bazam-e-Akbar. He was the chief guest. The reference was presided over by Agha Nasir while Mohammad Mansha Yad, Sarfraz Shahid, Dr.Inaam-ul-Haq Javed, Dr.Ghazanfar Mehdi,Bashir Hussain Nazim, Fareeda Hafeez, Dr.Aalia Imam and Slaeem Akhtar expressed their views. Farzana Janna paid poetic tribute. The program was conducted by Ghazanfar Hashmi. |
