Islamabad (P.R):By Harmonizing modern sensibility and classical tone Faiz give Urdu ghazal and nazam a unique flavor which not only promoted Urdu but also the established this genre throughout the world. Faiz is considered as one of the most important poet of modern ghazal. We inspire the coming generation and cast deep effect on contemporary literature. Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) has collected the views and thoughts of renowned critics and have published the special issue of Quarterly “Adbiyat” on Faiz Ahmed Faiz. This was said by Fakhar Zaman, Chairman, PAL, while briefing the press on the launch of special issue of quarterly “Adbiyat” “Faiz Number” in connection with the 98th birth anniversary of the poet. |
